Australian Made Week 2024

Australian Made Week 2024

Australian Made Week 2024

This week, from the 20th to the 26th of May, it is Australian Made Week, organised by The Australian Made Campaign. We are joining Jessica Mauboy and the Australian Made Team in celebrating Australian makers and growers. As a manufacturer, who have been producing high quality, Australian Made flags on the foreshore of Sydney for over 100 years, Australian Made Week is very important to us.

We are so proud to be able to display the famous green and gold kangaroo logo on our website and products, especially considering that 99% of Australians recognise the logo. As well as this, 4 in 5 shoppers believe that buying Australian made is important, and 91% of Australians want to see more Australian Made products. 77% of Australians are willing to pay more for Australian Made products, and this statistic is very important to us, as we often get asked why our flags are more expensive than alternatives on Ebay or Amazon. Manufacturing in Australia is not cheap, but we wouldn't have it any other way, and we are glad that the majority of Australians agree with us on this.

We offer a wide variety of different flags, but the one thing they all have in common is that they are high quality, Australian Made products. We understand that when our customers are wanting to purchase an Australian Flag or an Aussie Boxing Kangaroo Flag, the fact that they are made in Australia makes their purchase much more meaningful. At Harry West Flags we believe that an Australian Flag made in Australia is the way to go, meaning when it is flying, it is symbolising more than just our nation's pride, but our nation's economy and our talented Australian manufactures.

When it comes to our flags of the world, we understand that our customers value that they are able to purchase a flag of their native country that was made in Australia, the country where they now reside. Harry West Flags are a symbol of multiculturalism and appreciation for all other countries and their beautiful flags.

As an Australian manufacturer, we want to ensure that we are giving back to other Australian Made businesses as much as we can. Our packing materials, eco-mailers and other supplies we use on a day to day basis are always purchased from other Australian businesses. What goes around comes around, and when we support other local businesses with the Australian made stamp of approval, we create connections in other industries who can recommend us as an Australian Made flag manufacturer.
