Our Story

Since 1908, Harry West Flags has been proudly producing high-quality Australian-made flags on the foreshore of Sydney Harbour. Our legacy includes holding some of the oldest flags in the Maritime Museum of Sydney, being the Australian Defence Forces' most trusted flag producer, and producing the flags which fly upon the iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge.

Vision vs outcome of custom flag

Harry West began on the foreshore of East Balmain, the West family owned a Chandlery there and their son Harry was a sailmaker and so Harry West flags began as Harry West , sailmaking, canvas and flagmaker and grew from there.

As a family-owned business, we feel privileged to continue our century-old legacy, upholding our commitment to high standards of workmanship and attention to detail in all our flags.
