Whilst we are used to making large flags, such as the 10 and 12 yard flags as well as the largest flag flown from a flag pole at 20 yards, the helicopter flags are a whole different ball game! Weighing 55 kgs dry and measuring over 25m long, they take up most of the workroom and require our specialist machines and expertise. These were made using the traditional woven bunting, triple-stitched, and reinforced in all seams and corners to withstand 90 km/hr winds. They will fly under the Royal Australian Naval helicopters for special events
